About
The Data Engineering Lab. belongs to the Department of Humanities Data Engineering (Undergraduate course), the Department of Transdisciplinary Engineering (Master Course), and the Department of Computer Science (Master, Doctoral Course) of Ochanomizu University. Our lab conducts research on the safe and effective use of data, building on data management systems, data mining, information storage systems, and privacy-preserving technologies. By integrating artificial intelligence technologies, including machine learning and generative AI, with data science methods such as statistical analysis and visualization, we aim to discover new knowledge from real-world data, including medical data, and develop technologies that contribute to solving societal challenges.
